I just wanted to give you a BIG thanks for the Alumni website!! I have been able to reconnect with several friends from school that I hadn't seen in years and would have not been able to find were it not for the U.A. website!! Over the 4th of July weekend, I was able to have dinner with 2 of my very best friends from high school ... actually we have been friends since the 6th grade!!! We all graduated in 1990 and sort of all went our separate ways after high school.

A couple years ago I got in touch with one of the girls, Jenny (Busey) Viernes from her email on this site and we have kept in touch through email ever since, due to the fact she was living in California. Recently, she emailed me that she had moved back to U.A. and we have been hanging out ever since and we both have sons that are 2!

We had always wondered what had happened to our other friend Bethany (Snyder) Hudnutt over the years and by chance her email was now on the class email page!!! I sent her an old picture from way back and she responded right away!! She was wondering how we had found her email and when I explained it was from the U.A site she had said that her Dad (former U.A teacher, Mr. Jim Snyder) had put her on there so it was a wonderful surprise!!! Anyway, we all got together over 4th of July and it was like the time had never past!! It was great remembering all the old stories and times we spent together. We couldn't believe it had been 17 years!!! (What happened to our BIG hair??) Thanks again for all your hard work! This would not have happened without you!! Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cindi Cunningham and Ron Desmond (UA class of 1967) attended their 60th Birthday Bash in September, 2009. They had not seen each other since high school, began dating and were married in 2011 at Trinity United Methodist Church.
